Rebel Og regions were never needed as the old divisional Bord na nOgs were more than acceptable. The divisions also work better as development teams also.

Typically numbers would have the big city clubs in a premier grade with Ballincollig, Carrigaline, Eire Og in with them with regularity. Outside of that you’d be hoping the likes of Mallow, Bandon, Macroom etc compete at the top level every few years as well.

The Rebel Og mid cork having Boherbue/Knocknagree amalgamation in the same grouping as Killeagh is mental especially when you consider trying to sort travel arrangements for those players for a game

Serious need for ccb to look at the way the u21 Championship is played. County Semi-Final between kinsale & ibane. Draw, ET , penalties and now sudden death.
Absolute joke way to play an u21a County Semi-Final

There's been some discussion about this issue on this forum in the past.
I didn't climb the paywall, but from what I could read this seems slightly different. This article headline about placing restrictions on full-time GAA employees. A condition in an employment contract (whether written or verbal) which restricts what you can do outside of working hours is not at all unusual when it refers to activity which is in some way related to what you are employed to do or could be perceived to be (even if it actually isn't).

You're right but, it might be the first step towards restricting the mercenaries more generally

In the case of GDO/GDAs, I wouldn't have an issue with them coaching another team in their own county, if they give equal time to their own clubs

Heard today that Philly McMahon is gone from Naas Aga he was on €60k.

Hard to believe latter part, wonder if someone misheard €16k
Intermediate clubs in Cork are apparently paying 30K to ex Kerry footballers. Naas are probably the biggest club in the country, so very believable.

Glad that blew up in their faces. He's an absolute tit, who's used his background to build a media profile, with no achievement in coaching.

Doesn't say a whole lot for Derry
