U15 North Hurling, NORTH, Aghada played Fermoy then Piarsaighs, and play Kinsale next...
Madness that Rebel Og was to be structured along the lines of the old City Bord na nOg yet the one area not catered for was the City weaker clubs

There should be an urban region to cater for Premier 1 & 2 feams and A, B & C grades for weaker clubs and second teams in the greater urban area

Draw a circle from Carrigaline to Carrigtwohill to Blarney to Ovens and have 3 seperate regions outside of them, East, North & West

It aint that difficult

Duhallow u14s would be strong, their 15s aren't great. Ballincollig would be very strong, hence hammering, them and Ballinora would be favourites. Divisional teams players have to be on the age as well.
The eligible clubs afaik, are Dillons, Vincents, Passage, Mayfield, St Colmcilles, Witechurch, Delaneys.
I don't believe Colmcilles had any players but could be wrong. My understanding was that if you were entering a team at any grade in the U15 championship (only P1, P2 and Div 1) then you were not eligible to take part in the Seandun team.
Duhallow played U15 league as well as championship. No idea why Seandun did not.

I think that by the time they were able to get their ducks in a row, it was too late for league entry so went for Championship only in 2025.

I'd imagine the expectation will be to enter both League and Championship in 2026, assuming Rebel Og agree and there isn't too much objection from other clubs.

That’s my understanding also. It was only for clubs who didn’t have enough numbers on the age to enter on their own.

Yes that makes sense alright. Looking at Rebel Og, Coiste have P1 and P2 championships. Bishopstown are playing championship in Mid and St Colmcilles and Na Piarsaigh are North. None of the other eligible teams listed above seem to have teams entered any where.

I assume that this will be confined to U15 and maybe u13 league as clubs will be entering teams at the main age grades. Good for players to get to play at that level and on their own ages.

U15 seems to me to be the forgotten grade when it comes to championship, played so late in the year and straight knockout.
I guess that is because of the Feile earlier in the year.
I would rather they scrap the championship and then remove the blitz element from the Feile and make the Feile the full on U15 championship

The issue seems to be with the u16's as nearly all clubs have u15's playing u16 (including the likes of Sars in this) so they need to wait for the 16's to be completed. But starting at the end of October does seem unfair on this age group.
