Due to set up costs and overheads etc dont you need a show that will sell out the stadium for 2/3 nights to make it viable?
Those acts work in venues like the marque

Stadium eventing is serious business. An unfortunately Pairc Ui Chaoimh couldn’t be a more unsuitable size for that.

I watched a business podcast this morning about the music industry. The Oasis tour was discussed. They started in Cardiff not for any music or personal reasons but because the parking is free there.. so what? In most other venues just the parking for their 60+ articulated trucks costs £1m.

Isn’t that baked in. Tot up all the money (tax) spent by anyone who drove yesterday and filled the tank and paid 4 tolls or bought a pint yesterday or stayed overnight etc etc…let that money (tax take) argue for a discount, not a surcharge.
