Does Frank Need To Go

I played at adult level for nearly 20 years and have been coaching teams and on committees for over 10 years. You can still hold that opinion if you wish.
I'd like to believe that but I don't, unless it's a single adult team club.

Let's stick to discussing the merits or otherwise of an opinion expressed here without casting aspersions on whether or not the person holding the opinion is adequately-qualified to hold it. Argue the points, not the person. The discussion on the points is interesting - I read those arguments for and against and it helps me form my view because some points may be made that I didn't think of.

Every club need players that train / play matches 3,4,5 times a week.

But on the opposite end of it, clubs also need and have to accommodate players that have no interest / time to train but are more than happy to play on the 2nd or 3rd team. These players would have more time than 1st team players to accept committee roles, team management roles, train underage teams, help with refereeing / umpiring / linesman, help with club pitch maintenance etc

These clubmen will be squeezed out under this elitist motion
There needs to be more discussion about motion like this. 1 weeks discussion for such a big change is not enough.

The real winners of the new rule will be clubs where one code in a divisional junior championship is weaker than the other such as Ballincollig/Eire og in mid cork hurling or Aghada in East Cork football
