Not to much Respect shown to the late Kevin mcternans family with bashing of the cup...
This hasn’t gone down at all well in Togher. Kevin’s passing hurt us deeply and still does, but that hurt pales into insignificance when you think of his poor families hurt. this feels like someone dancing on his grave to be honest

But it also must be said the idiot that did that didn’t set out to upset anyone either.

Fair play to Carrigaline for contacting us to apologise Not an easy situation for them either

I would imagine No disrespect was intended although that doesn't change how his family or people in togher should or can feel.

But if it changes anything, the video of the cup going through the roof that person had no affiliation to the team. He was neither a player or a selector.

So it looks like drink just got the better of the individual (not excusing the matter). But again I'd say he felt poorly enough when he saw it being shared county wide the following week.

I presume this clown is barred from the clubs licenced premises after this, and if a member of the gaa club should also face sanction. Even if he didn’t know the significance of the trophy or the significance of it to the Barrs club he obviously has zero respect for his own club premises.

Stop trying to dissociate him from his club. Or are you suggesting he is not a club member?

It be a bit strange to see someone not from the club dancing on a table with the cup wouldnt it?

Yes you'd imagine that will and should be the outcome. As you said, regardless of the cup significance the intentional damage alone would need to be addressed by their club anyway.
