Been to a few games in Kerry this year, big fan of the one home, one away and one neutral venue game in group stages of c'ships - creates an excellent atmosphere

Would never happen due to ticket sales, who's going to bother buying a ticket for a game in their home pitch and who would stop them going in. County board would loss big time

Why do fellas compare the Little 10 club, 2 month championship to the biggest Club championship in the Country . Its mind boggling. Do fellas understand the logistics. Madness.

Very true.
I was sent a screenshot of a statement published by a ladies football club last night criticizing the cork ladies board for cancelling their game today. It went on about the ladies board having no respect for their players and the club and all the sacrifices they make etc etc. Absolutely bonkers stuff.
I think the statement was deleted later.

Logistics - one at home, one away, one neutral - surely more achievable than hoards of games at a select few neutral venues over the course of the 2 months for group games here

I think all games bar the latter stages of championship will be on a home & away basis within the next 5 years. Clubs don’t have the volunteers needed to cater for the amount of games being held in neutral venues.

Will Co. Board allow it? They know their income will decrease because Joe Bloggs wouldn't charge his clubmate or pal or even someone he knows.

In Kerry, the current Munster money man, when Kerry money man, introduced the vans at all Champ. games, certainly in ASP and Fitz Stadium and I'm sure further afield. Their gates increased no end.

I went to a game locally recently and there was 4 of us in the car going to watch it and your man at the gate said "sure a tenner will do" so essentially the board lost out on 3 people going in. Don't get me wrong, we were happy to go a tenner
