Sure let’s enter a team of senior club players, who don’t play for cork, in the inter county championship just so they can experience itWhy about time , they give an opportunity to junior and intermediate players to play senior championship .
Oh you mean relegate them? There’s a concept, treat all teams the sameOne likely outcome I've heard that has been discussed behind the scenes if Croke Park rules need to be followed, will be that premier senior and Senior A will be increased above the current 12 club teams. Could mean some weaker divisions based on championship results being placed in the Senior A championship
Dry your eyes mateLooking forward to the next time the Barrs are knocked out by a division
Doesn't sound like a bad idea. Was always in favour of divisions competing. There was a big scrap on a different thread about big City clubs "robbing" players from smaller clubs. If Seandun was strong the lure of the big clubs wouldn't be so great. Pity the smaller clubs can't see that, they've been shooting themselves in the foot for donkeys years what with refusing to release players etc.One likely outcome I've heard that has been discussed behind the scenes if Croke Park rules need to be followed, will be that premier senior and Senior A will be increased above the current 12 club teams. I completely disagree with that. A 12 year old doesn’t give a damn about Seandún. They see the big clubs as big clubs who win all the time and that’s their draw.Doesn't sound like a bad idea. A lot of kids grew up watching Imokilly winning counties late 90s early 00s and competing. Besides representing your county the next best was representing your division. Fell by the wayside until the last few years but no doubt the youngsters who had club members playing with Imokilly recently think the sameI completely disagree with that. A lot comes down to how they do with their own clubs underage. If they are being hammered every week they will want to leave. Doesn’t matter if they can play for their Division when they are older, kids don’t look that far ahead.A lot of kids grew up watching Imokilly winning counties late 90s early 00s and competing. But they shouldn't be getting hammered every week if they are in the right grading which most are these days.A lot comes down to how they do with their own clubs underage.
