The characters of Cork

Ah Noel the Magic man. I remember him from school. The teachers used to always tell us to be wide of him

I never though it at the time, but there was something massively dodgy about a guy of his age who used to hang round with 10 year old boys.

Ginger Murphy is his dogs name. He has the thing trained to go up to girls so he can have an aul chat

I know, sure. It was always amusing to see the nubile young fresher girls from the country petting the dog completely unawares. Kind of like a rite of passage.

that shortarse american with the bandana and guitar who was always hanging out with the paul rats despite being about 30.

the sweaty guy in the tie-dye t-shirt who used go to freakscene when i first went and is still going whenever i go back. he looks like he thinks he looks like jim morrison but dances like a coma victim being given random shots of electrotherapy. a very sweaty coma victim - stand within five feet of him and you'd get drenched.

I dont think he was a paedo or anything though, he was just a bit slow. Wasn't he?

I'd say freshers week is like his summer holidays for him.

Another character is the big tall fella who hangs around UCC chatting away to himself
