Didn't he have the bicycle shop on South terrace directly opposite the Lee garage many years ago?

Also seem to recall him having a jewellery shop selling those beads and shell necklaces and bracelets as well as other trinkets when they were fashionable back in the day.

Yes I believe he did. A friend of mine was a great friend of Peter, two characters. RIP to both.
