The beauty of Belfast

Since we have a Dublin thread that says it's a shithole and a Cork thread that says it's going to the dogs let's have a Belfast but this time instead of slagging off the Ulster city let us talk about Beautiful Belfast. This forum can be quite negative at times let us be
Positive

Erra Cork City on a Sunday morning is revolting.

Chip wrappers and vomit everywhere.
People just behave like animals when theyre out.

Belfast is generally a good spot imho.

Unsurprisingly there are parts of that city that are best avoided, but that's true of most cities in the world. And I'd feel safer in much of Belfast than I would in many parts of dublin.

I love the Belfast accent and people there tend to be more willing to enjoy themselves on a night out. Unfortunately, there's an increasing drugs scene again like many modern cities, but people there are generally very helpful and mannerly.

We brought the kids up there last summer and we had a great time. Beautiful parks, a brilliant science museum, nice restaurants.

I don't think I'd like to live there, too many flags of every hue for me! Great place to visit though.
