They certainly are, but what's being lost in this is, if they are objecting to get votes in their constituencies what does it say about their constituents.

The politicians (of all parties here) are only guilty of hypocrisy the voters are the real cunts in this as they are influencing the politicians. And it is happening all over the country.

The Nimby culture, "This housing crisis is a disgrace, shame on the government. Now where do I sign the objection to the site up the road"
The councils have a lot to answer for to be even humouring these frauds. I have good friend building a new house in a rural area, 250 meters from any one on either side. Must change his windows in the plan to suit some pencil pusher, however you can change the windows at anytime in your house without the need for planning.
