Our housing is in the shitter. It will be interesting whether our foreign interests will get preferential treatment regarding housing.. The gov are already bending over backwards to build modular housing for Ukrainians. While the average person is struggling to get together enough funds to build their own gaff.

"If only there was political will" is always a politicians get out clause for talking complete nonsense.

Local authorities are the biggest landlords and wasters of empty homes and vacant zoned land.

Public servants hardly care what they do with our money or land as they only move at a costly glacial pace.
