That’s worse. I work with a Scottish lad who lives in Ballincollig and the way he goes on about the place you’d swear it was Montenotte.
It's a lot better then it was. A bit soulless but ok links into Cork and plenty of services.
Could do with a metro.

You'd think that a place as big as Ballincollig would have an area where people say "oh yeah, that's the nice part".

But no, it doesn't. Ballincollig is essentially a long road with a load of housing estates and supermarkets around it.

The Regional park is the nice part, I suppose.

It's a very practical place to live, in terms of amenities etc, but it has no soul.

Yeah like I don't mind it at all, but there's nothing I like about it.

It reminds me a bit of Adamstown in Dublin.

Although I will say that the food in the Tradehouse Central is class. Perhaps we could go on a date there sometime?
