No it's not. I'm friends with him, he said he has a room to let and is fed up of being bombarded with emails from middle aged Arabs who he has no interest in living with.

Which is why he removed the listings, and was the main basis of my post, although you ignored that in an attempt to have an argument about racism.

Not looking for an argument about racism at all. We’re in the middle of a housing crisis so he’s going to receive emails looking for the room. Wouldn’t it be worse if he couldn’t find someone to take it?

Well it’ll happen again some day even if it’s hard to see now. During the crash rents plummeted.

I guess where I am coming from is I have no sympathy whatsoever for landlords in the current market.
