I have to say, I do like the new thinking of allowing new rental developments to be outside of RPZ and just stay within normal inflation rates for rent increases.
This should certainly help with further developments, no wonder Scum Fein are so rattled
16000 tenancies flagged for rent increases above RPZ limits in the last quarter. ZERO enforcement.

Its currently a free for all.
 
It looks like the government are trying to make it look like they're doing something while actually doing nothing.
Doing nothing, so these international property investors were put off investing in new rental properties here because of that fixed percentage of increses that could only be applied to those paying rent.
Now it's in line with inflation, let's just see if it's nothing, of which I doubt.
