Thailand here I come

Three days in Bangkok?

Use the riverboat taxi to get around. By far the quickest way to get from one side of the city to the other.

Khao San Road is probably worth a look for an hour, you can fit in the grand palace on the same day.

Check out the night markets alright.

Haggle.
Yeah, we’re heading on to islands after so 3 days on the way through

It seems like there’s millions of markets, and they might be best at night so will do that

Did you go to that railway market? Worth the trip if so?

Will get a few temples in during the days I suppose, will look at the palace too

Its a long time since I was there tbh m8.
Just pick an activity a day and go from there

Bangkok is mad, you could be there 3 weeks and barely skim the surface. I wouldn't bother booking excursions outside the city when you're only there for 3 days. Dont worry you'll find plenty to do there

Travel light. Dont pack jeans or warm clothes. The heat and humidity will just have shorts and tees essential. You can pick up stuff dirt cheap over. Leave plenty of luggage space for shopping or you'll be kicking yourself.

Which islands are ye headed to?
Book a snorkeling tour, they're great fun.
Bring a deet based mozzie repellant and buy tiger balm for the inevitable bites. Warn the kids not to scratch their bites or they'll have a miserable time.

Dont expect to be able for much the first day, you'll be fucked from Jet lag.

We are heading south west to Phuket then out to Koh Lanta, basing ourselves there because I do t want to keep moving so will get to some of the other islands for short hops from there and I have the diving lined up which is one of the main points of the trip. Ending up staying in the National Park at Khao Sok then

Koh Lanta is very nice. You'll have a great time.

The day trip out on the boat will be terrific fun.

Enjoy it anyway. The time will fly.

Isn't Phuket full of perverts who prey on children?
