Tayto crisps

Aer lingus had one on their "Sky cafe" menu recently for pretty much the same price.

They tried to 'sex it up' in the description of it on the menu but in reality it's two fucking slices of bread with butter on it.

I wonder do they put the crisps in it for you or do you have to do it yourself?

For €4.95 I'd want them to feed it to me.

How much do fillings normally cost in sandwiches?

If you're a café owner, what kind of money are you shelling out on a bit of chicken, some lettuce leaves and a dollop of coleslaw?

I'd say there's a pretty big mark up on most sandwiches sold in cafés tbh m8.

That's as may be, but at least those are made for you and are not a weak ass effort to capitolise on homesickness at a shitty premium...

Two slices of white bread, a packet of Tayto and some butter shouldn't go for more than 2-2.50 and that's bearing in mind you're actually on a flight...

Let's call it:

Tayto - €0.95
2 x Slices of Bread - €0.30
2 x Mini Butters - €0.30
Total: €1.55

Give them a 45 cent mark up. Then €2.00 cost.

Cowboys.

I was on about the one Gatch saw in the café m8.

If you sell a Tayto sandwich on a plane for €2 then everyone would buy that and you'd never sell any of your ludicrously marked up alternatives. The simple solution is not to buy the product if you think it's too expensive.
