Stuff that grinds your gears

Every Irish news website going on about Gaza non stop.

I get it, there's a war on, but ffs I don't need the latest updates every morning.

In addition to this, every Irish news outlet running the same story. Why the fuck would I pay a subscription for the Irish Examiner when I can read the same news for free on the RTE website?

That's why you have websites that kill paywall, only fools pay for Google translate/copy/paste shit

The CYO do a great show in city hall on the weekend of the jazz too. Keep an eye out for it. They do all the classics ( by which I mean the theme from the pink panther and a selection of songs from the muppets!), and its a great way to introduce kids to the instruments.
Thank fock for Thomann (and technology) for making so many musical instruments accessible to everybody.

And to all the great honest music teachers on YouTube.

Adults being drunk around small kids.

I was in city hall yesterday for the youth orchestra screening of the snowman. Lovely event, but there was a couple near us with 2 small kids. I assume they were the parents but maybe they were other relatives.

The adults were drunk. Not merry, or tipsy, but proper belligerent drunk. In the early afternoon, at a kids event.

Those poor kids ;-(
You will see plenty of that over christmas, Mammy and daddy say its socialising and getting into the christmas spirit,
