Stuff that grinds your gears

People who say someone has "A touch of Autism" or "Everyone is somewhere on the spectrum".
I've given up trying to even explain how wrong it is.
I think they are badly trying to explain high functioning Autism. Something similar exists with ADHD. You here people say we all have a touch of ADHD or how can that person who got into college have ADHD etc.

I mean we are all somewhere on the human spectrum, just not the Autism or ADHD spectrum. It's further complicated by the high numbers of people with high functioning ADHD or Autism who are not diagnosed but are on the spectrum.

A fair point. The functioning ideal is also widely used but not a real actual description although as you say a more recognisable one.
The actual measure is in terms of support needs. The difficulty is that someone's support needs in any setting can vary within the day, never mind day to day.

I was watching Ire V SA in the rugby last night, I couldn't help noticing that whenever there was a break in play or if a try was scored loud music came booming out over the PA system, it must be infuriating for those in attendance at these matches. There's no need for this, why not let people enjoy the game without being subjected to this intrusive music.

Also, how did Zombie become an anthem for the Irish team, it's an awful dirge and I can see no connection between it and the game of rugby, which is a gentlemen's game after all.

Gah bacon & cabbage munchers who have a chip on their shoulder about the rugger.

A sad facet of their indoctrination that the Gah is the most Irish. Total nonsense of course.

I think its quite pathetic to be so bitter that you cant cheer on your national team in a sport where theyve just defeated the world champions.

The same dum dums see no contradiction in watching English football week in/week out.

Traffic backlog and a BMW tosser up your arse and hogging the white line perchance to jump ahead of you at any given second and then be stuck behind the car infront of you.

Had a fella overtake me in a 50k/mh zone on an unbroken line Friday evening. Lethal manoeuvre. Id caught up with him 2 mins down the road.

People driving like maniacs for negligible time gains is baffling.
