Stuff that grinds your gears

My mother was diagnosed with Cancer two days ago. She's 90 yrs old. Had a family meeting about how we are going to manage things after she comes out from respite. We don't know how long she has left. We are thinking very little given everything we know.
I know from talking to people this is a difficult time for families and as much as we have already been doing our rota minding her etc this is coming to the next stage now. It's a bit surreal. We kinda knew it was maybe coming but now that it's here it hard to get our heads around it. One step at a time I think and palliative care hopefully will keep her comfortable. That's the main thing.

I'm very sorry to hear that. Try and take care of yourselves too. It's not an easy situation. Sure God love her.
