I did some work with a Cork hurling legend earlier, and afterwards I said I must tell the father in law, he'd be impressed
Then I remembered I can't

Then I remembered I can't
I still think of ringing my dad after every exam I do to tell him how it went, and he has been dead almost 25 years.I did some work with a Cork hurling legend earlier, and afterwards I said I must tell the father in law, he'd be impressed

Where's your Mam from?He is thank God, but he wouldn't know a hurl from a baseball bat. No interest.
He's a Meath man and even when they were Cork's biggest rivals in football he wouldn't know who was winning and losing
I think you've answered your own question.I need feedback
My friend of 5 half years is coming to Cork because he is chasing some gal. He said he 'might have an hour for coffee'. I'm there thinking am I an afterthought? It's not romantic with him (thank fuck) but I feel upset especially when he's getting the train and I could meet nearby.
He's in the UK so not coming from anywhere close. Am I being too sensitive? I've not met him in the flesh yet
