Stuff that grinds your gears

Our friend i mentioned hopefully has a place in a facility, thanks to good people who helped out. He has been staying with us but obviously it's not a viable solution. Sadly our grandchildren naturally don't understand as they knew him as a big strong gentle giant who gave them time and a five euro note.

He picked up a picture of our grandson and said his own son's name, and proceeded to speak with such pride about what a great lad he is, and that he had started GAA ( his own son is 15 now, my grandson is 6).

I thought my heart would break in half. My husband and my son are so saddened by it because he was so close to them. He brought my son to his first international, never had the chance with his own son.

I had to go to mass this morning (Cloughduv Church).

Now I wouldn't be anti religion at all, and to some extent I'm a believer, but why does mass have to be so fucking boring?

Surely there's something they could do to make it a bit more enjoyable. An app or something where you can ask God questions during the proceedings
Pm a moderator on Boards.ie cos it's the same thing

When your Internet goes down in the house, back on but only because I am in college at the moment, still waiting for the modem to be fixed back home.

Lads/ladies, if ye have a list of enemies, or someone you generally just dislike, here is the perfect present for them.
Nothing says I detest you more than sending them to this..
