How should a summons be served? On your expert, unbiased, totally practical opinion....Its the legal business, pure scum and they have zero morals
Solicitors sending summons servers into a person's workplace. Unnecessary and despicable.
That's great, it gnaws away at the back of your mind until you do.I'm feeling guilty over not doing the kettle bells today
Because it is designed to cause embarrassment and upset.Often not unnecessary, in fairness. It is rarely the first attempt at serving the susummons. Usually they will try someones home first.
Why despicable?
This particular solicitor does this frequently.Because it is designed to cause embarrassment and upset.
And each time they have never tried any other avenue, and have been told by the solicitor of the person they are serving that they are happy to receive the summons on their behalf, and their client is happy to make an appointment to receive same if this is not acceptable.
I the latest case the person is no longer working there, they are out sick. The solicitor was told this and still went ahead, the third time doing so.
I'll do them today and I could hear the energy roar last night: you have to do this every day, nobody said it was easy!!That's great, it gnaws away at the back of your mind until you do.
If I were you I'd push through the tiredness, you'll feel fantastic afterwards.
