Stuff that grinds your gears

We aren't all amused by the same things, people need to chill out a bit.

This place is becoming rather joyless in the absence of Proc stalwarts such as Langer Dan & OutdoorThreadmill, two titans of the local talkpage scene, whatever joyless c*nt reported them to admin needs to take a long, hard, cold look at herself.
Is that arsehole Outdoor Thread mill after getting a slap of the hammer.

I wouldn't know, I have the sad pathetic moron on ignore.

So I shouldn't take you at your word in terms of what you post here?

Either you enjoyed your own county being beaten, which is pathetic.

Or your aren't from Cork and yet have spent years posting on a Cork forum, which is also pathetic.

Or you weren't delighted by the result but are pretending that you are in order to try and wind me up, which is (you guessed it) also pathetic.
I'll take the third option.

I will say one thing though, the roads were grand and quiet yesterday with Cork playing in Limerick, it's a shitshow then there's a big game on in Cork.

Who is bringing GAA crap in here, we have a sports forum folks.

The peace and quiet this afternoon was only wonderful while that match was on.

And no, I didn't watch it either and no the world did not stop either.
Even if you don't like sport, and hate the GAA, how can you not support the Cork footballers and hurlers? These are real decent fellas who sacrifice their lives for the sport they love and often put their personal lives on hold, with no personal financial gain, while they are playing.

It's sport at its purest and long may it continue and remain.

All you will get in response from that eejit is grab all association, bog ball and a whole load of things he thinks sound smart but you haven't heard since the playground

I'm getting very emotional reading this tbh.

Don't mind that crank Mike.

Two ads that are getting on my nerves recently

The first one is the Laya health care ad. Guy in a doctors office just about to get the results of a scan, starts remembering important life events, which makes you think this is a cancer diagnosis about to drop or not.

Then it cuts back to the diagnosis and it's for a sprained ankle or something else completely minor

Now, that fucking Aldi ad. Stuck at the side of the road, broken down laughing about it, because they have some fucking chicken rolls from Aldi.

Yeah sound.

But then it gets to the dad, who is presented as a complete moron and one who is happy to be so. Has anyone else noticed it's always the man who is the clown in these ads. Dad forgot to put petrol in the car because he's dumb.

Dad regularly forgets to put petrol in the car because he's dumb.

Imagine if an ad came out about Mam being a clueless idiot who regularly forgets to put petrol in the car.....

Rant over
