Is this some kind of smart alec response. I obviously didn't know about my sleep or steps because I was stuck in a bottle of wine which I'm not ashamed to admit

What kind of watch is it? These things usually don't go bang all of a sudden.

If it's a Garmin the app will guide you though troubleshooting.

Try forgetting it off the Bluetooth and reconnecting through the app.

Similar for others like fit bit or coros or whatever

If you google the issue chances are some Indian lad has a youtube video on what to do
