Should the GAA split into 2 organisations under the one umbrella,Hurling run by hurling people and football run by football people ,Have the hurling HQ in Thurles bulid it up to 80,000 ,maybe even have two seasons ,a hurling season April to July and have football season July to Oct ,that would include club games aswell ,

Have 2 inhouse uncordinated departments going at each other for funding and sponsorship and costing more money ?

Daft.

Thereby doubling the numbers of committee men, secretaries, county boards, and the divil knows what else? They'll all be picking from the same population, so you'll get the next tier down of lads that couldn't get on the existing committees and were used as club reps etc.

Splits in organisations in Ireland have never gone well.

As so many people play both codes, particularly when they are young, it makes sense that they are not separate organisations. Otherwise you'd have one organisation demanding loyalty over the other rather than trying its best to accommodate fixture lists and addressing player burnout.
