Sounds from a safe harbour fest

Nice selection of films tbf, with 3 premiers.

If youre into Brian Eno, “Eno” is a great film, was only shown in Triskel for 1 night

I missed out on getting tickets for Remembering Talos as I was out of the country when they went on sale.I'd love to go to this,if anyone comes across anyone with spare tickets etc.,let me know, would be very grateful🙂

Bit of rebranding here, i assume to shift tickets, only 1 actual new event has been added, the all female “sirens” event in the Shandon Church,

All the other events listed, have actually been on sale for several weeks.

Should be a great festival, so many events on, a good diverse choice of different events.

It looks like I've got an extra ticket for both of these shows. My gig companion doesn't have the patience for acoustic guitarists even when they're also great songwriters.

Fri 12th Sept 5.30pm - Fionn Regan @ Triskel Arts Centre. €28.50 face value, currently 6 seats remain on sale.
Fri 12th Sept 9.30pm - Villagers (acoustic) @ Everyman Palace Theatre. €35 face value, sold out.

PM if interested.

Went to 10 of the festival
events, too many highlights to mention, but one of them was certainly, John Hopkins and Sean Carey at Stack Theatre, Hopkins was on a grand piano, Carey on an upright piano, and he did some accoustic guitar also. The sound was so perfect, clearly a real sound perfect - auditorium, set up with multiple mikes inside the grand, and also spatially away from it.

Another highlight was Angie McMahon & Leif Vollebekk- at St.Lukes

The highlight was surely Cillian Murphy's set in Cyprus Avenue being referred to as "boppenheimer" ;-)
