I went to a folk singing club the other night, after a venture through The Park where an amazing singer was getting it on with some
soul. At the folk club a fella from Grimbsy sang beautiful songs about horrific deaths, so a typical night of folk music, really... While I waited for the event to begin, listening to the woman in The Park, I typed up a blog post on my phone about drawing and sketching, online influencers, supporting the local economy where there's expertise you can trust and taking the time to get to know what you already have in your possession. All via the medium of art, or as this thread so endearingly calls it, "Arty Farty Stuff."

For the benefit of the many elderly folk in here I included pictures. Unfortunately I'm at the age, now, like my Dad warned me, where when someone presents me something to read the most important question needing answering is, "Are there pictures?"
There should be a lot of praise for the many small arts, and arts and craft shops, that are actually putting money into employees from Cork's pockets!
