Having slagged the shit out of Skoda cars for years I'm ashamed to say I'm impressed with the new Octavia.
Fella at work got one and it seems the biz.
Driving a Hyandai at the mo and either looking at a I30 or Octavia next.
Any of ye out there bought a Ocatvia and if so would ye recommend it .

The bed is nice, turbos do go in them though. Small enough inside.

What's you budget and requirements, I'm sure you could get something nicer, the hyundais outside of the Santa Fe are a bit shit tbf

Had a Skoda Octavia VRS a couple of yrs ago. Fantastic car and never an ounce of trouble in 4 yrs of motoring. A mate of mine has a new 1 litre petrol 115bhp octavia and is very happy with it.
Skoda make all the engines for Audi, VW and Seat.

Skoda make the 1.2 and 1.4 tsI engines used in all vag cars. But notherwise the rest of the range

My Mistake, you're correct Hang!!
Are skoda building the 1.5 TSI 150bhp, cylinder de-activation motor for the VW Group? Could be my next purchase, Skoda Karoq.
