I'm sick of SF's 'anti-spin' - that every criticism of them is 'spin' and not valid. To say Joan Burton, who is a mother to a woman of Mairia Cahill's own age, can't sympathise with a rape victim, is just horrendous. Enda Kenny is a father, Micheal Martin is a father. Much and all as they're fair game most of the time, to imply they're using rape to further a political agenda is pretty low.

SF would want to dial down the self-righteous act pretty quick. Ye're not the injured party here, ye're rape enablers.

mairia cahill is the victim here, no doubt about that, but i honestly feel
she is also being used as a political pawn v sinn fein, and i hhave said on
here many times that whoever abused her should have been dealt with
and any cover up should be condemned unreservedly,

I think they are a unique blend of Nationalism and Socialism with an insular outlook and a poor record on equality (eg. Maria Cahill), contempt for press comment and a leader that has the blind devotion of his underlings . They're a cagey bet in any election !

They're not great on Finance either but who am I to Judge !

If you go to Europe, socialists are much more honest about where they'll get the money for services from. Sinn Fein and co are basically picking up FF's "everything for nothing" policy framework and taking it to new extremes.
