Sinn Fein are not a Normal Political Party

Its popcorn time :

A former senior Sinn Féin press adviser has gone on the record. Siobhán Fenton, who worked closely with the party leadership, describes being “horrified” by two sex abuse scandals that hit the organisation. She says staff were “distraught and furious with Mary Lou McDonald.”

That is not a unionist attack. That is a former insider speaking.

One of the cases involved Michael McMonagle, a former Sinn Féin press officer who pleaded guilty to serious sexual offences against a child. The fallout, according to Fenton, left the president of the party facing weeks of internal and public criticism over how matters were handled.

For a party that has spent years positioning itself as the champion of victims and the scourge of institutional failure, this is a devastating admission. Sinn Féin has never been slow to demand accountability from churches, the state, or political opponents. When the crisis is inside its own ranks, the response appears to have left its own staff angry and distressed.

The public is entitled to take Fenton’s account seriously. She was not a peripheral figure. She was a senior communications adviser. When someone in that position says the leadership’s handling of child sex abuse allegations left colleagues distraught and furious, it cannot be dismissed as opposition point-scoring.

Mary Lou McDonald and Sinn Féin have built a political brand on moral certainty. They lecture others about cover-ups, about failing victims, about the need for transparency. Yet a former senior staff member now describes internal horror and fury directed at the party president herself.

Communities across Northern Ireland have heard enough lectures from Sinn Féin about integrity and victims’ rights. They are entitled to apply the same standards the party demands of everyone else. When an insider says staff were left distraught and furious, that standard has clearly not been met.

The record is no longer written solely by the party’s own press operation. A former adviser has put her name to the claim. The public can judge the gap between the rhetoric and the reality.

Saw a horrific video on a car cashing into two other vehicles in Blackrock village.
The driver got out and was shouting Tiochagh our. Laa.
It would appear he was definitely a member of IRA/SF. He had the standard dress black and had a a balaclava.
I am calling on the party community activists to discipline their members as there could have been loss of life to an innocent bystander.
I knew one of the activists in the past he was known by Mickey Sam but I think he has been stood down over his not supporting the alteration of the abortion laws.
These type of guys are doing the party no good and MLMD needs to come down to Cork and weed out the unsavoury guys and gals.
She really does not go outside Dumplin much which is resulting in dissatisfaction down here.

Scotland and Wales are looking for Independencethe result will be either a yes or no

What is the proposal from IRA/SF for Northern Ireland.
Independence or unity with the South.
What are they saying..Two referendum one in each jouristrictions.
What if both say no. Run it again until the result is yes.?
One says yes and the other says no.
Run the one that says no again until the result is a yes .

I would be obliged for clarification.

You should probably try contact Micheal Martin the current leader of GO IRA/FF 😜

Wales and Scotland (which already had an Independence vote in 2014) are countries with rich histories before they were subsumed into the "United" Kingdom which was, is, and always will be rule from London to benefit the English first and foremost. The north eastern corner of Ireland was retained under threat of violence by the british (effectively England flexing its muscle of vastly superior numbers) and so only part of this country achieved its freedom.

But as even Trump says, a reunited Ireland is inevitable and it's a matter of when rather than if.

Great move by SF in an alliance with SNP and Plaid to put pressure on the SOS. It's now no longer a lone party in Ireland calling for such polls - the biggest parties in Scotland and Wales are calling for them too.
