Chilling? Been doing it for years without a problem. I doubt any party in the land matches the personal wishes of each of its members exactly. And in SF I've always been encouraged to speak my mind - think they'd have a job trying to stop me tbh

This SF party member who emailed the policy to the Irish Times and said they found it "chilling" wasn't an Irish Times journalist who just took out membership to stay informed and be able to write such pieces was it?

BTW, that code of conduct that the Irish Times found "Chilling" (still laughing at that one) states inter alia

IFF Tommy Gould is found guilty of such fraud then he's rightly getting kicked out of the party.

I very much doubt Tommy Gould would be able to get free legal aid given his widely known income. Wouldn't be doing himself any favours looking for it either imho. Buttimer does have private clients as well as he's got a fairly good track record in defending people.
