Cullinane would be regarded as one of the more capable Sinners. This is utter humiliation for him, he clearly doesn't believe men can become women but has been pressured to make a really embarrassing climb down form leadership. Luckily for him he won't be asked about this on any mainstream media. They all need to pretend the Emperor is dressed int he finest of clothes too.

You'd wonder did he think at all - f*** this I'll stick to my guns, it will just make me more popular. Mary Lou then has the choice of disposing of one of the few Sinners who she can hold his own on political debates or wind her neck in and say it is just something herself and Cullinane are not aligned on.

Hold his ground on this and he is a rare politician with a back bone and walks in as an independent at the next election. He is a lefty but as a man with some "common sense" it would surely be a weight of his shoulders, could be a bit more honest about the immigration, IPAS scams too if he got the boot.

Compromising on everything in the hope of becoming a minister down the road, possible future party leader, even Taoiseach, all goes up in smoke if an independent.
