Is it such a surprise about Burns? It's been pretty obvious he has been more visibly rabid in his Republicanism than any GAA president in a long time. There's been a clear push by SF to portray the inevitability of a UI, but it's all a front without any of the hard work or the facing of reality. Picking their sleepers like Burns and that nursing one in NI is another sign of that.
