Should Ireland fuck away our neutrality and join NATO?

Should we turf away our neutrality?

🤣🤣 what happened between 2013 and 2025?
Oh yeah Russia who has a veto on when and where we send troops invaded Ukraine, but considering your party’s stance on that war and support of Russia I doubt it even registers.

Israel has invaded a number of countries and bombed I think it's 7 different countries in the last twelve months, and as ever, even back in 2013 and before it Israel was backed to the hilt by the US when they were killing their neighbours, you and Fianna Fail didn't seem that anxious about removing the Triple Lock then. Funny that.

To quote the leader of the party you support "There is no reason whatsoever to change (the Triple Lock)" - he even cited Russia and China FFS. Removing the Triple Lock will "impress no one in Europe and will contribute nothing to international peace".

"Instead of sniping at our neutrality the Government should acknowledge what we have achieved because of it and set out a policy to strengthen and not undermine it"

The Triple lock, according to Micheal Martin in 2013 "is the core of our neutrality".

Is it that you no longer want Ireland to be neutral, and to be seen internationally as being neutral, that you want rid of the Triple Lock or what?

Jez, Israel again, it’s like a default programming with Shinnerbots.
Do Israel have a veto over when and where we send our troops?
As for our neutrality, pftt, we aren’t neutral. We take sides in conflicts, we allow other armies to use our airspace and airports.
I’m happy for the triple lock to become a double lock, no country should be cowtowing to Russia’s veto.
I know that might be a concept difficult to grasp because of your organisations support of Russia but please try.

BandonY posted that tanks are obsolete and you response with some aul guff about the triple lock.

How was BandonY’s point in anyway about the triple lock?

Handy Run posted the opinion that tanks are obsolete - which is complete nonsense and my laughing at it should have told you that. Are you some kind of latter-day Eiesenhower or something that you think it correct that tanks are now obsolete :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I also included in my post the evidence that Micheal Martin, the guy who leads your party, is a liar. Sorry that you got confused with two separate ideas contained within the one post

Usually when you’re replying to a poster the done thing is to keep it on topic.

It was on topic ffs.

I linked and laughed at the ludicrous notion that tanks are obsolete, and then I dealt with the general topic of getting rid of the Triple Lock here on the "Should Ireland f**k away our neutrality" thread. I mean how much more on topic can you get??????
