The Government are only there via the consent of the people to represent the citizens of the State.

Eventually you will get used to that concept.

What better way to actually represent the citizens of the State than to ask in a Referendum what do they actually want? It'd be a site more representative than assuming that the Government have carte blanche to do as they please with national fundamentals in between elections. Do you want to get rid of Referendums entirely Statty?

Why would we join Nato when we would have to cough up 2% on defence when we can get a cheap ride hiding safely behind the NATO shield and also we would no longer be able to virtue signal on our neutrality :rolleyes:
