That the fella who tried to kill the shopkeeper and the cops and stuff like that? Any death is sad but from what I recall that was a case of self defence and public safety.
Funny what people deem to be a mental health issue and one of thuggery. Old(er) lad I work with brought up the Abbeylara case, citing some poor lad having a breakdown(which it's fair to say he was) and the Guards went straight in, and killed him. But they were dead right to kill that lad up in Dublin who was acting the scrote(who also was having a meltdown of his own). Both circumstances in my opinion had the right results.
