Why are they doing so well in the Premiership this season after coming up from the championship last season and are in contention for a place in Europe next season

I know one of the reasons is they have got an excellent goalkeeper but there must be more reasons why they are doing so well

And on the other hand why are they doing so poorly this season after doing so well last season going in to the last quarter last season they were in contention for a champions league place . this season they have only one point from something like ten games

Henderson going back to United hasn't helped.

A severe case of second season syndrome along with a few injuries have seen them struggle.

You want to be averaging a point a game in order to stay up. They're badly short. They were never freescoring but their defence was formidable.

Id say they need to invest in January to give themselves any chance.

Lost last two games 1-0 to West Brom and West Ham - they'd likely have been on the right side of these scorelines last season!!
