You have Activists trying to muddy the waters of basic biology.

Gender ideology is purely a social construct, and a bitterly divisive and contested one at that.

As such children as young as 8 should not be taught that changing sex is as simple a matter as changing shoes.

The social contagion element of this cannot be overstated and really you'd have to question the agenda at play in introducing this material into a primary school setting.

I made some very valid points about your suggestion to eradicate the female category form the sports you suggested. Also about the option of female only training. You failed to address any of them.

There is no lack of understanding on my part. I just don't by this notion that gender is different form sex and is interchangeable and that societal norms that have existed for centuries have to be turned on their head to facilitate.

All I said is that the sexes are different and that this is not a point on anybody really outside of intersex people can debate. if you think i am wrong and insist i use gender as a proxy for sex you are a fool.

I'm happy to talk sex differences in sports. that is in fact an area i have some interest in. The differences in sex are primarily phsical. I don't care really what the performance outcome is for a trans person.

To me it doesn't matter if Lia Thomas to use your example finished 1st or 50th or 500th in the NCAA champs her (i say her because I respect her request) retained advantage because of sex despite hormone treatment etc etc disadvantages the other competitors and should not have been permitted. If someone wants to wear high heels and a skirt after coming 200th in the an open/male class of the US Olympic trials i really couldn't give less of a shit.

The inverse argument is also true if chess is a game which rewards pattern recognition and cognition that difference between sexes should be negligible and it matters less.

it probably reflects the social standing of Girls in places like China, India and Russia. If some billionaire wanted to close that gap through funding sponsorship etc they probably could. The international chess federation should probably persue this. But it will never be true for any sport that sits in the physical domain.

Incorrect, you eventually stopped dancing around the issue with phrases like "find an accommodation" and "not my decision" and came out and said yeah the 12/13 year old boy should be treated as a girl and left play on the girls team.
