Couldn't find the thread to post it on.

My youngfellah was at it and said that Christians had a try disallowed and he doesn't know why. Christians failed to convert a couple of their tries which alas proved costly in the end ?

Was at the game - with 10 tries, it was a great match between the two old rivals. Fair dues to CBC for coming back from 33-14 with 12 minutes to go to nearly draw it. Tough on the out half to have to attempt that conversion off his right foot from out wide in the gale - he played an absolute stormer otherwise. LOL, Pres were barely hanging on in the end.

Two soft tries for Pres against the run of play before half time was what won it.

That CBC try was disallowed for a knock-on as the lad grounded the ball - correct decision by the ref and linesman.

The spirit and standard of sportsmanship from both teams was remarkable - it's a day none of them will ever forget.
