Any followers of Christians senior cup team ? a serious outfit had 3 Munster players from the summer on the bench aganst pres and one munster player didn't make the match day sqaud unbelievable strength and depth

Is that so?How many of those fellas got scholarships in the last year or two?The whole senior cup is a bit of a joke really.4 or 5 competitive games in a season(and thats to reach the final).I was at the semifinal against Pres and the best player on view that day was Jack O Sullivan Pres #8,some athlete.

Would ya reckon he is taking anything he shouldn't be that has helped turn him into ''some athlete''? I know nothing about the lad and have no interest in Pres-Christians so my question sure is speculative. Speculation can be good when there are so many unnatural sized looking teenagers around playing rugby these days. Considering he's a number 8 I'll guess he's a big player.

It's completely wrong of you to speculate on a named teenager. With protein,creatine(all legal and certified)and access to the the latest sports science in terms of gym program's kids are going to bigger,faster,stronger than 10 years before. I'm not saying this is entirely physically and mentally healthy but it's legal.

Speculation is inevitable when the rugby community is so intent on keeping it's head firmly in the sand. Maybe he has never taken anything he shouldn't have, if so fair play to him and I wish him all the best in the future. I wanted to know the opinions of the poster I replied to. I couldn't give a flying fuck if you're offended or whether you think it's wrong to investigate whether these problems are being started off at underage level or only start to become an issue at senior or professional level. I think it's an important issue for Irish sport, considering how popular rugby is, and recent comments from doctors with regards to the modern dangers of the underage game.

Nothing whatsoever,but why take players in if you won't play them.Both schools here have about 250+ rugby players each between the ages of 14-18.I would have thought that amount would have been enough to pick your senior team from?Rather than going off recruiting more players.

Fair enough. I'm happy to hear that as it's reassuring to know that the top talent on the field is clean and it's down to pure talent. Would you recko there's any problems along those lines at SC level? hows that fella Poland doing? He was a good underage GAA player but on the smaller side. Heard he started to turn in some big performances on the rugby pitch and got the deserved call ups

Yeah a fine player as well(the pedigree is there).What was his GAA club?
