Scrap Yards..

Anyone know of any around?

Don't mention Forge Hill. That crowd think they are main dealers these days.

Good friend is looking for a part for a Citroen C4 seven seater. It is a side piece between the roof/bonnet.

Thanks.

There is (was) a place in Kenmare a few years ago, that had a contract with the insurance companies for cars scrapped after accidents, I got some pieces there and much more reasonably priced than some more local places.

If you search online for a service manual, not the owners manual, you should be able to get a part number and then search UK scrap yards. Shipping the part might not be as expensive as you think.
Also if the part is a painted one, try to source it in the existing vehicle colour and save on the spraying.

Nice one Frankee. I rang a few places earlier, and one place..... Jesus. I said it was a Mitsubishi Carisma 1.3, yer man said, 'oh, you mean it's a LANCER 1.3 haha', I said, 'No, a CARISMA 1.3 with the 4G13 engine, not a Lancer'. He then passed the phone to someone else saying 'Talk to him'...... The next guy was complaining that he'd have to go and look for the parts, and he DEFINITELY didn't have one certain part.

How hard is it to find parts for my car haha! I'll just JB WELD the sump, and buy new ball joints if the next place cant help haha!

Hammond Lane gave me €300 for an old banger, Pouladuff only offered €150.
Came to collect it an all so they did.
She was a good old servant, still willing, but starting to wrinkle and droop.

The car, not the wife Jimmy.
