Pres are very strong this year tbf and I would have had them as heavy enough favourites to win the whole thing. Still surprised by how big of a win
Not surprised in the least that Pres beat them, but the scale of the win was. I don't think this Pres team are that much better than the Pres teams of the last 4 years, it's CBC who were really poor.Johnny Holland earning his crumb up in CBC by the looks of it…
Maybe we should have read a bit more into that international schools competition PBC won a few months ago, obviously an impressive set up this year.
Serious team, one of the best teams in the last 20 years there. The writing was on the wall for everyone else when the won the Schools Challenge in Salou.Pres are very strong this year tbf and I would have had them as heavy enough favourites to win the whole thing. Still surprised by how big of a win that was today though.
That's an awful hammering for young fellas to take
what is it aggregate score between semi final and final 104-3
something is rotten there

PBC cruise to record 33rd Munster Schools Senior Cup title with final rout
Pres have moved one title clear of CBC at the top of the Munster Schools Senior Cup roll of honurwww.irishexaminer.com
Ger teaches in Pres"Armed with a management team of ex-Munchin’s stalwarts, Ger Burke’s side have swept through their seven games by scoring 363 points and conceding just 42."
Wow - wonder what has ex-Munchin's stalwarts coming down to Cork to train a schoolboy's team. Really is the professional era even in schools rugby now, and if the other schools don't invest it's likely to be more of the same.
If I recall correctly that Pres senior team were over in Portugal a few months ago, while there they beat one of the best South African school teams. With the exception of Pres, the standard was apparently really low across the board this year. Even CBC were way back. Terrible for schoolboys to be enduring the likes of those hammerings.
Ger Burke the headcoach/manager played with Munchins but lives now in Crosshaven afaik, also teaches in PBC. 3 other of the coaches are also ex PBC students who live and played rugby in Cork."Armed with a management team of ex-Munchin’s stalwarts, Ger Burke’s side have swept through their seven games by scoring 363 points and conceding just 42."
