Schools Rugby

Speaking of team turning up it looked as though Pres were there today but alas Christians weren't.

At best CBC broke even in the pack, but behind the scrum it looked like boys against men, particularly in the second half.

Pres seemed to have a plan and despite some early dropped passes continued to flash the ball around and had confidence in their wingers. CBC were pretty aimless with the ball and kept going through the phases as they didn't seem to have anyone to break the line. And in defence Pres were resolute.

Better team on the day won it and despite the officials actually having some PBC logo on their jerseys :) CBC can have no complaints
How did Ben o c, play?

O'Connor looked like an athlete apart. Surely in line for an Ireland schools call up, and U20s following that. Wonder if ROG would keep tabs on lads like him to come through their academy system as well, similar to the attempt he had with Crowley. Whatever about which sport he chooses, I just hope he manages to find a more appropriate fitting pair of togs.

Seriously jimmy - they were dramatic to say the very least.

Despite being an ardent CBC fan yesterday it was heartwarming to see Pres bring on a guy who had only one hand. Big guy who when seeing him warm up as a sub showed great dexterity with the ball, no problems catching or passing. Great that this guy got beyond a very obvious impairment that might have curtailed most people's sporting ambitions. Good luck to the guy.

Love stories of people who dont let a disability get in the way of their ambition,
