Russia's unjustifiable war of aggression in Ukraine

The Russian navy has been given orders to lay mines at the ports of Odesa and Ochakiv, and has already mined the Dnieper River, as part of a blockade of Ukrainian grain exports, according to newly declassified US intelligence.

Putin is following Stalins example of using mass starvation as a weapon of war!
They also set mines on Donets river and on the main bridge by Kherson.

Mines in Odesa are not new. They kill dolphins because of it, and there was one guy who decided to have swim and returned to the beach in pieces :/

Here is the actual map of Russia. Everything outside is their emporium. Understanding it gives help in geopolitics and Russia :)

Known from Eurovision Russian band Little Big have released anti-war song and published the video and obviously left the country (of the "real freedom").

They already on the 24th of Feb published anit-war graphics on their online profiles. Fair play!

Another interesting material from the channel:

Finland ‘ready to fight Russia if attacked’ Finland’s armed forces chief, Gen Timo Kivinen, said his country was prepared for a Russian attack and would put up stiff resistance in the event that one should occur. Finns are motivated to fight and the country has built up a substantial arsenal, Kivinen said in an interview. He said: The most important line of defence is between one’s ears, as the war in Ukraine proves at the moment. Finland has maintained a high level of military preparedness since the second world war, having fought two wars in the 1940s against its eastern neighbour, with which it shares a 810-mile border. Kivinen said: We have systematically developed our military defence precisely for this type of warfare that is being waged there [in Ukraine], with a massive use of firepower, armoured forces and also airforces. He added: Ukraine has been a tough bite to chew [for Russia] and so would be Finland.

Russian pilots still use non-military navigation equipment

Despite the Kremlin’s claims of military and technical superiority, the Russian Air Force continues to face a big problem with its navigation systems.
Russian military pilots are still actively using insecure, non-military navigation equipment due to the low quality of Russian own navigation systems.

Ukraine has shared abundant evidence that Russians have added off-the-shelf GPS systems, such as Garmin, to the cockpit of its combat aircraft. During the interrogation of the Russian pilot captured on June 18, it turned out that he had with him a Garmin navigator and a smartphone with the ‘Pronebo’ soft in order to have more accurate navigation than the onboard navigation aids of the Russian Air Forces.

Such GPS receivers have been found in wrecked downed Russian fighter bombers, attack aircraft, and even military helicopters.
On top of that, the UK’s defense minister also confirmed that Russia is taping basic GPS devices to its fighter jets.
Wrecked Russian fighter jets are being found with rudimentary GPS receivers “taped to the dashboards” in Ukraine because their inbuilt navigation systems are so bad, the UK’s defense secretary, Ben Wallace, said.

He also noted that this was due to “the poor quality” of Russia’s own navigation systems.
British intelligence says that in the conflict to date, Russia’s air force cannot gain full air superiority and has operated in a risk-adverse style, rarely penetrating deep behind Ukrainian lines.

“For years, much of Russia’s air combat training has highly likely been heavily scripted and designed to impress senior officials, rather than to develop dynamic initiative amongst air crews,” the message added.

First HIMARS are operational in Ukraine, here is nice comparison Russian Grad Vs American HIMARS. This is what technology means. To prepare the GRAD system to next salve you need approx 1 hr to load it. HIMARS can be ready to another shot in 10mins +/-4:

They are devastating but with 11 soon to be in the field their effect just not enough unfortunately. The Ukrainians would need 60 in the field to make a push. Big opportunity missed as Shogiu in Belarus begging for Ammo and Hardware, yes Russian might begging from Belarus. Almost as sad as the Wests shortcomings of properly arming Ukraine and putting Russia to sleep for a long time.
