Just watching the BBC world service they had a Ukrainian on and they are in the middle of a battle for their life in the east they have been granted EU candidate status but now are talking about joining NATO, unreal. They are not pleased with anything. All about more more more, won't be happy until they have Ukrainian tanks in Moscow.
At this stage we should dismiss the argument that Ukraine did not want anything out of the war, they clearly do or at least some of them want not to be neutral but to be placed under the NATO umbrello.
They were saying it from the very beginning... Also EU=/=NATO, they can want even to be a part of the Spaceship Intergalactical Alliance - because they can. Especially someone who is NOT a citizen of a NATO country should at least stay quiet, what that has to do with you, simply not your business

Ukraine NEVER stated they want to be neutral, for half smart person looking at the map it would be clear they cannot be neutral. Some where pushing for the Finland model, well Finland as we know is joining NATO soon most likely xD Russia is shite pariah country and who cares what they think or want? And especially what their acolytes are wishing for. LOL
PS. EU not faster than 10 years I'd say. NATO well we will see, you cannot join NATO when in a conflict. And even if exception given, you cannot then use Article 5. After war, Ukraine will be mostly in NATO system already from equipment point of view and not even a chance to go back to be then dependent on the worse enemy ammo and communication standard. This fight Russia lost already as well. What left is details.
