Russia's unjustifiable war of aggression in Ukraine

The Russians are now coercing young Ukrainians in the occupied territories to join the Russian army for Putins meatgrinder to be slaughtered by their fellow countrymen as they run of Russian men and Putin is scared to mobilise. What a twisted evil prick?.

No mention of the alumina scandal?
Strange.
It's not sanctioned by the EU but then again neither is Israel yet we're passing legislation to sanctions Israel but apparently cant act independently when it comes to Russian sanctions?

Bad look for Ireland a neutral country bringing forward so called occupied territories legislation and yet allowing a massive Russian embassy, allowing largest number of Russian diplomatic visas (spies) and exporting large amounts of alumina to be used in Russian drone manufacturing.
I’d say it’s about time we got down off our high horse on world affairs we haven’t a clue about.
Millions of views worldwide on the investigation. We’re a nation of hypocrites.

I think this could be the first time I agree with most of what you have posted rebs, first time for everything!! ;)

Our self interest here is taking priority with 1k jobs on the line but I'm sure there are ways around this as the plant supplies 50% of it's output to the EU and therefore is needed to be in operation by the EU as well. But yes it is hypocritical!

Soon, real soon, honest, we're passing toned down sanctions against products of the illegally occupied territories.

To put it in context of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Ireland would be refusing to purchase some Russian products from Crimea and Donetsk but openly purchasing products from Russia itself
