The West has a very simple solution - tell India and China that we will apply 100% tariffs on all imports from them unless they reduce purchases from Ru. They will have no choice but to comply.

Trump is on a roll - he has started the ball rolling with India and asked Europe to join him.

Our economies are fragile and we want to trade with China and India but the long term, indirect cost is not viable.

Our politicians have been slow to act but there is an opportunity now - I say Carpe Diem

Steady on there Barry, there's people on this forum wouldn't want to spend an extra penny on things that don't directly affect them in their day to day lives.

Estonia closed the Saatse border crossing with Russia on Friday after more than usual numbers of Russian border guards and soldiers were spotted in the area. The decision was made to prevent potential provocations, the Estonian Border Guard said.

But what is really interesting is that they closed the crossing marked in red below, and next to it is the Estonian road going through russia (marked in blue):
