Russia's unjustifiable war of aggression in Ukraine

Well they're the living embodiment of dreaming of a United country and it brings on the re-emergence of the fascists !

Are you seriously telling us that the Germans, under the "re-emergence of the fascists" are in cahoots with the Russians so that Russia can annex Ukraine? You think we're back in 1939 with the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact don't you

In your non thinking head perhaps.

No I'm suggesting that there were the Germans fixated on a once again United Germany and it caused unintended consequences, where largely the East German people swopped a communist authoritarian government for support for fascist parties.

That said, and as we discussed, Russia/USSR have always support fringe cracker/terrorist groups all over the world but particularly groups that help destabilise countries in Europe, not least SF/IRA, ETA, Le Pen & NF and the AfD. There are plenty of crackers in NI on both sides, so be careful what you wish for.

Wow! That IS a dramatic map. That part of the country ruled for so long by the far-left USSR now seems to hanker so much for the far-right AfD. But look behind that lovely graphic and find that only 1 in 5 actually voted for the AfD in the most recent election in Germany.

And the question remains - are you really suggesting that it was Germany and Russia were in cahoots together to destroy NS2, and that Germany looking to extradite a Ukrainian for it is merely to deflect attention away from their dastardly plan to co-operate in destroying their own infrastructure?

Firstly, I accept you may be missing the point that the former inmates of East Germany have a lot of issues in adjusting to democracy, no more than your fucked up brethren of norn iron. The weight of that 1 in 5 sits heavily in the former East Germany.

Secondly, I have made no determination as to what Germany's motives are, although if it was the Ukrainians who did NS2, good for them, I've no problem with it. Great to see you so exercised on Russia's behalf though.

I'm not at all exorcised on Russia's behalf - if you check back those of us who said at the time it didn't make any sense the Russians destroy their own infrastructure were ridiculed here at the mere notion that it might have been a false flag operation and that the Russians mightn't have been involved at all.

Listen the Russians have been absolute cunts invading Ukraine, but lets blame them for what they actually did rather than adding on stuff they didn't do as well.

Good for you !

Putin has rejected many off ramps including one gift wrapped from Trump.

It's clear that Putin will stay fighting while he can finance the war. China and India are funding Putin.

The West has a very simple solution - tell India and China that we will apply 100% tariffs on all imports from them unless they reduce purchases from Ru. They will have no choice but to comply.

Trump is on a roll - he has started the ball rolling with India and asked Europe to join him.

Our economies are fragile and we want to trade with China and India but the long term, indirect cost is not viable.

Our politicians have been slow to act but there is an opportunity now - I say Carpe Diem
