Nato in its present guise is not fit for purpose, but lets face facts, it has been demonstrated in the Ukraine Despite all the Russian propaganda, that the Russian army is completely inept and has been bled dry. They have zero chance of mounting a successful attack on the Baltics. Putin could do nothing to help Assad or Iran. The Caucasus are getting restless and are moving towards Turkey.
